  4. I am 45 years old and I have followed Seve’s career right from when it first started. I am so gutted to hear of his death. Seve was always my favourite player. Rest in peace, Seve, you were magic and a true legend and a gentleman on and off of the golf course. All of your family and friends and fans love you, Seve.

  5. Seve you have been the pride of the Cantabrians, your beloved county. The whole world cry with tears of deep sorrow for you. The day you left us, was thundering in Cantabria. Surely, you were playing a few holes in heaven. We will always love you Seve.

  6. I got a text-message about his death while playing golf and I must say it affected me deeply. And even now a couple of days later, I get a lumb in my throat when I read or look at interviews with his collegues around the world and learn how much he also meant for them. (Sorry about the spelling, english isn’t my first language).

  9. I just want 2 acknowledge the very sad passing of a very humble man Seve. 4 me growin up watchin golf, and seeing what Seve could do with a golf club was just amazing. The man was pure genius, and what always struck me was the way he wore a smile with every shot he played, good r bad. A true gentleman, and no doubt about he will b sorely missed. God rest your soul Seve, hope your in a better place.

  17. i was lucky enough to follow Seve for 18 holes twice. at the PGA at crooked stick and the US open at oakmont both were great days for me,
