Like you Golf came alive to me when I saw him in the Open coming 2nd to Johnny Miller. That was the day(s) he captured the imagination heart and love of the British public including me and I have follwed him ever since. Always thought he was the greatest, and felt so privileged to have lived in his era. All the tributes and programmes in his honour have friends family commentators competitors and fans expressing thier Love for him in the most wonderful way
thank you so much for seeing seve the way i saw him.i will say something now that alot of people will not agree with me,but on his game i think nobody could touch him.at his best ,for me ,he was better than nickolas or woods.nobody and i mean nobody, played the golf seve played.that kind of golf came from poverty and from hunger and from ambition.a true genius.alot of us still miss you Severiano Ballesteros.
You took the words and sentiments out of my mouth. I couldn’t have put it any better myself. Miss him so much
life is too short. I believe Steve finished his purpose to inspire us Golfers! I have a tribute video for him w w w reynoldsfgolfacademy VVVV com
i did not care much about golf until this man came along.i followed him from the moment he appeared.we have the same age.i never got to meet him, and i so wanted to shake his hand and say thank you.i feel very emty and sad.i cant seem to get this man out of my mind.i cant believe he is not around anymore.these type of sportsmen only come around once every blue moon.my love and condolences to his family.may the earth that covers you be light seve.take it easy on the angels up there.
A true battler on the golf course, such an entertaining golfer on the course, and he had a dryer than dry sense of humour that he often shared with spectators! What an amazing natural talent he was, and I was deeply saddenned by his death. In the mid eighties, when I was at school starting to play golf, his name was always one of the most popular mentioned. He a true sporting genius, the likes of which will unlikely ever be seen again. Rest in peace, you will always be a true champ..
RIP
I am 45 years old and I have followed Seve’s career right from when it first started. I am so gutted to hear of his death. Seve was always my favourite player. Rest in peace, Seve, you were magic and a true legend and a gentleman on and off of the golf course. All of your family and friends and fans love you, Seve.
