American golfer Dustin Johnson managed to pocket a cool $ 2,572,844 this season from his exploits on the golf course, thanks in large parts due to his win in the season opening Hyundai Tournament of Champions as well as four finishes inside the top five as well as a tied eighth position in the recently concluded US PGA Championship at the Oak Hill last weekend.

And now, we know just where the golfer spent most of his money after he posted a message on the popular social networking site Twitter with the photo of a large diamond ring on the finger of his girlfriend Paulina Gretzky, announcing to his followers that the daughter of the legendary hockey player Wayne had indeed said yes to his proposal of marriage.

The two became a couple after Paulina was seen cheering her man on from amongst the crowd at the Tournament of Champions and now, after barely a few months of romance, the two have announced their engagement. News began to emerge on the internet that the pair had become engaged before both the love birds announced the news from their respective verified Twitter accounts.

Paulina re-tweeted the photo that Dustin posted on Twitter along with several congratulatory messages for them that came from a close circle of friends as well as family members. Paulina also posted a message of the two of them kissing on her Instagram account along with the caption that she had never been happier in her life.

Trevor Gretzky, Paulina’s younger brother also congratulated his older sister and future brother in law Dustin Johnson on his official Twitter account. It seems the entire family has taken to Dustin after dad Wayne was seen teeing off with him at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am a few months back as well.
