The Dick’s Sporting Good Collegiate Challenge Cup is a thing that college golf has not seen earlier. It is interesting enough to estimate the interest of 5 SEC and ACC teams for the very first event. Music City Bowl is a football match between the 2 conferences each year. With Collegiate Challenge Cup afoot, with 5 teams each from SEC and ACC, there are 2 different titles up for grabs earlier this week. 1st – fifty four hole stroke play contest is set for the next 2 days, with team and individual team winners crowned. On Sunday, usual ACC and SEC rivals will team up with each another to attempt and bring down the other conference in a match play event.
The Golf Club of Tennessee’s General Manager Todd Heifner told that 2 events in one is the way they were looking at it. This is quite different compared to any other event the squads play in.
