The football season is drawing to a finale though there is plenty of sport remaining, in particular betting on the play-offs and the FA Cup. Will the winner be Wigan or Manchester City? At 4/1 the smart money could well be on the former.

Betting on Murray winning Wimbledon this year is going to be very popular and the odds of 11/4 on him doing so are a little on the short side. He may be well motivated, have the crowd behind him, and already have one grand slam tucked away in his tennis shorts, but can he really beat the masterful Novak Djokovic in a Wimbledon final? Our money is on the Serb.

With the flat season beginning, there will be a renewed interest in classic racing and the bookmakers are expecting another bumper year despite the recent scandal over the Godolphin stables and illicit steroids. The first Classic is the 2000 Guineas on 5th May followed by the 1000 Guineas, the Oaks and the Derby. Dawn Approach will win the 2000 Guineas; you can bet on it.

Unfortunately the long term weather forecast is suggesting that June will be particularly wet, and the whole summer might be a washout; so factor this in to your betting strategy. For instance there are likely to be a number of drawn cricket matches this season. Bubba Watson was born and raised in Bagdad, Florida. He was born on 5th November 1978. He is an American professional golfer on the PGA tour. He went to Milton high school and represented the school in amateur golfing events. He went to the Faulkner State Community College, Alabama and played golf for the college.

Then he transferred to the University of Georgia and played for the Bulldogs through 2000-2001. He helped them to achieve their SEC title in 2003. Later that year, Bubba Watson shifted to professional golf and joined the Nationwide Tour. He played there until 2005, the same year he finished 21st on the money list of the Nationwide Tour. He earned a little over 1 million dollars as a rookie and lead the PGA tour in driving distance at 319.6 yards. Due to his decent performance in the 2007 U.S. Open he was in the final group at the Oakmont Country Club, near Pittsburgh, where he finished 5th, in a tie.

On 27 June 2010, Bubba Watson saw his first victory on the PGA tour, in Cromwell, Connecticut at the Travelers Championship. He dedicated his win to his parents. At the PGA Championship at the Whistling Straits, he was a runner-up to Martin Kaymer. He won his second PGA Tour event on 30 January 2011, the Farmers Insurance Open. He defeated Phil Mickelson by one stroke. He won the 3rd PGA Tour title of his career on 1 May 2011 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Controversies flew when Bubba Watson openly criticized the Alstom Open De France on the European tour in spite of playing under a sponsor’s exemption.

On 2012, he won the first Masters Tournament of his life, which was also his first major, where Louis Oosthuizen was a runner-up. This win pushed him to the 4th rank of the Official World Golf Rankings.
